Effective September 26, 2026 · Draft pending legal review

The short version. Puckhound does its thinking on your phone. Your leagues, rosters and settings live on your device. If you connect Yahoo, the connection is read-only and the sign-in tokens stay on your device. We do not sell data, we do not show ads, and anonymous usage counts are off unless you turn them on.

Who we are

Puckhound is made by Hashmark Analytics (incorporation pending), Toronto, Canada ("we"). Contact: contact@hashmarkanalytics.com.

What the app stores, and where

Anonymous usage (optional)

Off by default. If you turn on "Share anonymous usage" in Data & backup, the app sends counts of screens viewed, recommendations viewed, decisions evaluated and paywall events, tied to a random install identifier. It never includes your name, email, Yahoo identity, league name or roster. You can turn it off at any time; doing so stops sending immediately.

What we do not do

Your controls

Legal bases and jurisdictions

We operate from Ontario, Canada under PIPEDA. If you are in the EU/UK, our basis for processing the minimal server-side data is legitimate interest in running the service; optional analytics rely on your consent. You have the rights to access, correction, deletion and portability; use the controls above or email us.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the effective date. Material changes affecting connected accounts will be flagged in the app.
